100 Days of Being – Wrapping Up

It feels somewhat surreal to be looking backwards, at the end of my #100DaysofBeing series for 2026, pondering how I managed it. When I started, there was the motivation of a not quite milestone birthday coming up to look forward to, one that suggested I need something to focus on/ discipline myself for. Having completed one such challenge before, and coming across #100DaysToUnload, it seemed only natural to explore that for the 100 days prior to said birthday.

Whilst I would like to think I wrote lots of profound stuff, I suspect the majority of it was boringly inward focused: Parenting & Kids (The L-Files, The F-Files), Reminiscing on the Music of my Evangelical Youth, returning to America properly for the first time in nearly eleven years , and looking back nostalgically at the good old blogger days all focused. It was also a good time to participate in some current blogging challenges such as JUnited and JulyReply.

At the end of every Grand Challenge lies the big what next question. I would like to maintain a regular cadence of writing on here, just not daily. Weekly pages, with a diary-esque twist seem like a logical follow on, as is perhaps a response to the weekly prompt one of my favourite poetry blogs posts.

I’ll pause a little to catch my breath and then dive back in. I hope the one or two people who read this blog stick around for the ride into the future.
