5 Albums which shaped me. Found on Olly’s post which was in turn inspired by Martin’s.
- “Finally” by Blackstreet: It was the early days of undergrad and I was away from home for the first time in a while (ever). Good music (that featured Hezekiah – for the good Christian kid) had me in its throes that year.
- The Prince of Egypt soundtrack, particularly Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston performing vocal miracles on “When You Believe” which was a previous Life in A Song entry.
- “What A Heart is Beating For”, by Chris Rice: Shame about the allegations but I had this album on repeat for most of 2008 and 2009.
- “The Face of Love” from Sanctus Real: Even now, “I’m not alright” still pops into my mind from time to time.
- Jesus Freak from DC Talk: Nothing more to add!
