60. Re: 5 Albums

5 Albums which shaped me. Found on Olly’s post which was in turn inspired by Martin’s.

  1. “Finally” by Blackstreet: It was the early days of undergrad and I was away from home for the first time in a while (ever). Good music (that featured Hezekiah – for the good Christian kid) had me in its throes that year.
  2. The Prince of Egypt soundtrack, particularly Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston performing vocal miracles on “When You Believe” which was a previous Life in A Song entry.
  3. “What A Heart is Beating For”, by Chris Rice: Shame about the allegations but I had this album on repeat for most of 2008 and 2009.
  4. “The Face of Love” from Sanctus Real: Even now, “I’m not alright” still pops into my mind from time to time.
  5. Jesus Freak from DC Talk: Nothing more to add!
