Between severe heat, dry weather and hose pipe bans, our garden has finally given up the ghost, taking on the semblance of a browned out Saharan grassland in place of its usually lush, deep green.
It doesn’t look like any relief is on the way, with the dry spells and highs in excess of 30C expected for most of this week.
F insists on going outdoors, high heat or not. She was clearly made for hotter climes.
